About Jasmine Williams
Jasmine Williams, Atlanta native, is a senior at the University of West Georgia. As an artist, activist, and self-proclaimed hip-hop snob, she creates work that speaks about her southern black female experience. She is searching for a way to reinsert herself into the African Diaspora while using elements of Afrofuturism and German Expressionism. Williams’ creative techniques range from prints and painting, to sculpture and three-dimensional works. She expects to graduate Fall of 2017 with a BFA in Printmaking.
